Natural gas (Henry Hub)

Sets the cost of nitrogen fertiliser that farmers import.

Gas is the main input for nitrogen fertilisers such as ammonium nitrate and urea, much of which Zimbabwe imports. Spikes raise costs for maize, wheat and tobacco growers.
